Gwen D' Pots

My name is Gwen and I am an AV professional. I have been working in the audiovisual field for over 15 years now. It’s a career that I truly feel passionate about.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated by technology and how it can be used to enhance communication. Whether it was setting up a stereo system in my bedroom or helping a friend hook up a new game console, I enjoyed figuring out how all the different components worked together.

In college, I decided to formally study AV installation and integration. I learned about things like signal pathways, key components, proper equipment mounting, and troubleshooting various issues that can arise. The hands-on skills combined with the technical knowledge really appealed to me.

After graduating, I started as an installer for an AV company. Those early years gave me invaluable experience actually putting what I learned into practice out in the field. I worked on all types of projects from corporate boardrooms to elaborate home theaters.

Now, I run my own AV business where I act as a consultant, project manager, and technician. Every day brings something new—whether it’s a software update, equipment upgrade, or full system overhaul. I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of the job and seeing the finished results.

Being an AV professional has allowed me to turn my passion into a career. I take pride in delivering top-notch solutions to my clients and building strong relationships over the years. It’s very rewarding to see how technology can enhance people’s daily lives. I’m excited to see where this industry continues to evolve in the future.
